2004 Cuba Tourism Convention Dedicated to Jardines del Rey

Havana.- The 24th Tourism Convention, to be held in the beach resort of Varadero, will be dedicated to Jardines del Rey.

According to sources from the organizing committee, the new offers and facilities of Jardines del Rey (Gardens of the King), located in eastern Ciego de Avila province, will be presented at the Varadero convention.

Every year, Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo attract more foreign vacationers looking for sun and beach options.

Tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, specialized media organizations, tourism professional and representatives of tourist institutions will participate in the convention.

Within the framework of the event, special attention will be paid to the important role of culture in the expansion of the leisure industry, and to Great Britain, a country that has become a major source of travelers to Cuba.
