Havana.- Villa Rancho Hatuey and Hostal del Rijo (Rijo Inn), in central Cuba, are among the establishments most demanded by foreign vacationers arriving in Sancti Spiritus.

Cubanacán S.A. executives in the province pointed out that the two establishments reported more than 3,600 tourists-days during the first two months of 2004.

The natural attractions surrounding Villa Rancho Hatuey and its centric location in respect of the rest of the country are a plus for vacationers who want to visit other regions of the Caribbean Island.

Villa Rancho Hatuey, located in a mountainous area, also benefits from the surrounding exuberant vegetation and tranquil environment.

Hostal del Rijo is located in downtown Sancti Spiritus, in the former mansion of the renowned doctor Don Rudesindo García Rijo.
