Cuba’s most famous export is, of course, cigars and even non-smokers will be fascinated by a tour to one of two factories in Havana. Visitors can see cigars being rolled by hand, while at the Partagas factory founded in 1827 a reader is still employed to keep workers entertained while they roll the world famous cigars.

Varadero, a two-hour drive from Havana, is Cuba’s premier beach resort and is known for its superb diving. There are also fantastic restaurants, night clubs, cabaret spots and lots of activities to keep travellers occupied.
