The Playa Giron Hotel, in the western Cuban province of Matanzas, was reopened after being remodeled.

The establishment, located in the Zapata Peninsula and run by Grupo Cubanacán, is an excellent option for diving enthusiasts and families with children.

The hotel has 282 rooms, including 42 one-room and 85 two-room apartments, among other lodging facilities.

The Playa Giron Hotel offers excursions to sites of interests in and outside the province, as a complement to leisure.

The establishment benefits from its proximity to Cienaga de Zapata, the largest swamp in the Caribbean region, where tourists can watch birds.
