A new air route between the Canadian city of Ontario and the Cuban tourist destination of Jardines del Rey (King’s Gardens) was inaugurated in November, in order to meet the growing demand from vacationers from that North American country.

The flight is an initiative by the tour operator Sunwing Vacations, which seeks to increase travels by Canadian tourists to the Caribbean Island, especially to Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Romano.

The new air route, which will benefit English-speaking travelers from the province of Ontario, will have a weekly frequency until mid December, when another flight will be added to the route on Tuesdays.

Thanks to this project, the tour operator expects to carry at least 500 tourists a week during the winter season, using its own Boeing 737 planes.

Sunwing Vacations was founded four years ago and is among Canada’s top ten companies regarding profits and fast economic-financial development.

The tour operator’s clients stay in seven hotels in Jardines del Rey, including Melia Cayo Coco, Complejo el Senador, Tryp Cayo Coco, Blau Colonial Cayo Coco, Playa Cayo Coco, Villa Cojimar and Sol Cayo Guillermo.
