Members of the Havana Journal have been invited to this unique Cuba seminar in New England on September 27 but we want to extend the invitation to all Havana Journal readers so here is a copy of the email that went out to members first.
I am excited to announce that we have collaborated with other Cuba related organizations to produce a very unique Cuba seminar on Cape Cod Saturday September 27. You can read all about it at http://LearnAboutCuba.com

We have lined up several world class Cuba presenters who will speak on the following topics:
* Legal travel to Cuba
* The effect of US policy on Cuban American families
* Cuban art presentation and exhibit
* History of Havana
* Cuba and the Internet
Also, we will watch a short documentary on Cuban baseball, have a networking session, have authors available for book signings and we’ll have some Cuba related merchandise for sale along with a variety of vintage Cuban memorabilia on display.

REGISTRATION
If you have any interest to attend, please register today since seating is limited to 150 people. There is no cost or obligation to register and reserve a seat. There is a $40 charge to attend but you can pay at the website or at the door. We will be sending out a press release after Labor Day and expect to fill the event shortly after.

We had a great seminar. All Presenters were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their topics. The attendees were very passionate about their Cuba interests and many things were discussed as you can imagine.
Sure the room was generally anti-Embargo and pro-Cuba. There were several people that seemed to be very pro-Fidel which is their right but I was happy to see that Cuba politics was not the reason for this gathering. US politics, sure but not a lot of talk about Fidel.
Just a passionate group of Cuba lovers and there is nothing wrong with that.
Congressman Bill Delahunt even sent in a statement to be read so that was a nice gesture to recognize our collective efforts.
