The Latin America Working Group will be offering seminars for those interested in travel to Cuba so if you have an organization that would like to host an event with a professional provided by LAWG, contact LAWG.org for more details.

The Havana Journal is planning an event for Cape Cod Massachusetts in September.

Here is more information from a recent email announcement regarding other initiatives by LAWG:

Have you always wanted to travel to Cuba, or are you looking for a way to go back? This year we are going to be conducting “How to Travel to Cuba” trainings in cities across the country in conjunction with events promoting Love, Loss and Longing. The trainings will cover everything from the people who can travel on general licenses and religious licenses to the more nitty-gritty details of traveling and what you can expect coming back through U.S. Customs.

These events will be free and open to the public. The more people who travel to the island, the more educated they become about the need to change our policy - and the clearer our administration’s misinformation about Cuba will become.

All are welcome wink

This is all educational information regarding how to travel on a general license or on a specific license. This is NOT a seminar about how to travel to Cuba via a third country.
