The company Habaguanex S.A., which promotes tourism in Havana’s historic heart, has presented new offers for the development of the leisure industry.

The options include a special package for Honeymooners, who will have the chance to visit the most interesting places in the Cuban capital.

The program for the newlyweds consists of discounts in restaurants run by Habaguanex S.A., free entrance to museums, a welcome cocktail, and a nuptial breakfast.

The initiative also includes free safe deposit box, maps of Old Havana and a 15-percent discount at the restaurant of the hotel where the honeymooners are staying.

Habaguanex executives announced the opening of the five-star, 96-room Saratoga Hotel in early 2005.

The establishment, located across from the Fuente de la India (the Indian Woman’s Fountain), will be jointly run under the One and Only brand by Habaguanex S.A. and the Bahaman group Kernell International.
