Havana.- Eastern Granma province is expected to receive 60,000 foreign vacationers this year.

According to sources from the leisure industry, results during the first few months of 2004 show that there is a chance to achieve that goal.

The province, whose tourist offers include nature, history and culture, has designed a promotional strategy aimed at improving marketing efficiency.

The goal of that policy, experts said, is achieving a steady flow of foreign vacationers during the so-called low season (April to November).

In addition, the hotels run by Cubanacn S.A. and Islazul are working to improve the quality of services, as a premise to attract more foreign vacationers.
