A new online Cuba travel guide has been launched by 360 VOX, a Canadian real estate development company.
Formerly known as Leisure Canada, the company purchased the domain name VisitCuba.com for approximately $110,000.
The company is announcing the launch of the developed website at VisitCuba.com.
From their press release: Visit Cuba blankets the Cuba you know and the Cuba you haven’t discovered yet - from Pinar del Rio to Havana to Santiago de Cuba and everywhere in between. Top journalists fill the site with fascinating insights into music, movies, culture, cuisine and especially into the 11.5 million Cubans and some of their personal stories.
It’s the very best way to visit the island nation without hopping onto a plane. In addition to extensive feature articles, the site provides detailed practical travel information, an up-to-date calendar of events and a special “What’s On” section for the Caribbean’s largest and most exciting city, Havana. There’s also an extensive Q&A section, loads of specially shot videos and a bookshelf where you can get the best travel, art and history books to help plan your Cuban trip.
There is also an instant booking engine, allowing access for reviewing and purchasing unique Cuban holidays.
The website was created by Troupe Design of Toronto Canada and programmed by Design Shopp of Montreal Canada and will eventually be tri-lingual in English, French and Spanish.
Guy Chartier of 360 VOX, who worked in Cuba for a decade, explains that the new site is a way to share his company’s love and respect for Cuba. “More than any Caribbean island, Cuba has culture, architecture, music, arts and dance that make it a true world leader. On top of that, it has the world’s finest beaches. We want to share what we’ve found with everyone.”
