Portion of the Plaza and the Anglo-American Club, Santiago

Posted August 18, 2004 by publisher in Cuba Politics.

This club, famous for its historical associations, occupies the rather insignificant looking building beyond the spreading tree. This and the San Carlos Club, directly across the street, were the headquarters of the Spanish officers during the bombardment, and all their councils of war were held there.
