An email campaign from the Latin American Working Group http://lawg.org

The Havana Journal supports the efforts of the LAWG and I have called my Senators Kennedy and Kerry asking them to support the bill. The switchboard phone rang about four times then I was promptly transferred to my Senators’ rep where they listened politely and asked for my zip code. Very simple and both phone calls took a total of maybe three minutes. If you want to travel to Cuba, spend three minutes and make a couple calls. My Congresman Bill Delahunt has already signed on as a supporter.

From LAWG email:

Restore Your Right to Travel to Cuba

It’s just a phone call away… 202-224-3121

Cuba Call-In Days May 1 & 2

How this works:

In the House, call your representative; ask to speak to the foreign policy staff; then ask that the congressperson cosponsor HR 654, the House bill to end the travel ban (voicemail is fine). If your representative has already cosponsored, thank her/him!
