Arizona Sen. John McCain picked up support from three South Florida Cuban-American members of congress - Mario and Lincoln Diaz Balart and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

“Senator McCain is a strong supporter of the U.S. embargo on Cuba and understands that the Cuban people have been living under tyranny for far too long,” said Rep. Ros-Lehtinen. “John has been working with us to help bring freedom and democracy to the enslaved island.”

“Ileana, Lincoln, and Mario appreciate the value of freedom and exemplify the honest, hardworking tradition of the Cuban-American people,” said McCain. “I am proud to stand with these representatives and friends as we continue to work toward a free and democratic Cuba. It is a critical time for the Cuban people and we must remain steadfast in our commitment to support the current U.S. policies toward Cuba.”

    Sucker!

He wants to be the middle of the road candidate yet he take support from these far right wing haters.

Ahh, Senator, do you realize that Ileana recently implied that the assassination of Fidel Castro would be okay with her? We have it on video here.

That last paragraph makes me puke.

Bye Senator McCain. The far right wingers in Miami are going to hurt you politically although I’m sure they’ll be big campaign donors and that’s what it’s really all about, right?

So, let’s stick with that 45+ year old failed Plan A Embargo. It’s going to work one of these decades, right?

Dear Publisher, It’s not the first time that McCain has tried straddling a fence that is strewn with bobbed wire and glass.  As I have posted before, all of them Republicans make the snowbird migration every year and half before a presidentional election to mine votes from Cuban right.  As far as I am concerned, he’s lost all credibility as a rational middle of the road Republican.  What has to happen for the Republicans and Democrats alike to effect the kind of change in Cuba where openess and freedom will arise?  Oil fields?
Oh pubilsher if you want, email me directly, I have news for you on the accessiblity to your website in Cuba that I had promised I’d get for you a few months ago.

Pete, I finally agree with you on something!  McCain has definitely “lost all credibility.”  He’s parroting the same old stuff as others before him who need the vote of the Cuban right, and what he’s doing is so blantantly obvious that I’m actually embarrassed for him!  I wonder if he knows the Cuban’right is dwindling by the day, so come election time, he might get a whopping few hundred votes.  I’m sure his tune will change once he realizes this.

Publisher, you’re right about that last paragraph.  As for his opinion about these three representatives “appreciating the value of freedom”....Wow!  The man is clueless!  It would be a sad day for America if McCain were to become president.

Sen. McCain is our ultimate FLIP FLOPPER. He has still to meet a cause that does not benefit his perennial Presidential candidacy. He was against the Christian Right, before he was for them. He stood on the sidelines when Kerry’s opponents went after hime with lies, deceit and unpatriotic bile. Once he was a big promoter of Cheney and Rummy. Now he blames them for the mess in Iraq. His only claim to fame is that he was a prisoner of war in Vietnam. Looking through his legislatice accomplishments, one is very hard to come up with any. Even his pathetic attempt at Campaign Finance reform was a farce. Now he stands with Mario, Lincoln and Ileana, like a panhandler waiting for a handout. It is time we took a very close look at Gov. Richardson. Not only does he have an incredibly impressive resume, he has the required Diplomatic experience to guide us through the very troubling waters ahead.

Dishonest John McCain is no straight talker.  On January 15, 2003, supporters of the Iranian Communist MEK (MKO, PMOI, NCRI, Rajavi Cult, or Pol Pot of Iran) terrorists placed a full-page advertisement in the New York Times thanking some of their major supporters in Congress, including Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Lincoln Diaz-Balart.  Following the Vietnam War, John McCain was an early, key supporter of diplomatic and business relations with communist Vietnam.  His positions on Cuba and on Iran are contradictory.

    That’s for Mr. Sheldon-Foote or a 2 footed creature:
Isn’t it so funny when ‘YOU’ talk about dishonesty?, What make you an honest 2 footed creature when after 56 years passing from 1953 CIA brutal Coup in Iran against democratically elected Dr. Mohammad Mussadegh and despite released original documents by blood sucking devil CIA and explanation of Ajax operations in Iran by details and evidence you still call that ‘A Coup Against the Shah’ and ‘A Rescue Operation of Iran from The Communists’!!?,

How dare are you to deny cold-blooded CIA evidence, you ‘Idiot’?

How dare are you to criticize John McCain when you were killing Vietnamese next to him in Danang/North Vietnam, you the blood sucker . . . How?

How Dare are to promote Ronald Ragan when you were elected for CRA (California Republican Assembly)?

How Dare are you when you were kissing rear end of notorious Ragan/Bush administration and now flip-flopping against ‘Son of a Bush’ ? down with you.
