Bloomberg is reporting that Chavez has gone back to Cuba for more cancer treatment forcing him to go to the Summit of the Americas where he could have met with President Obama. Something Chavez would not miss unless his condition has taken a dramatic turn for the worse.

RunRun.es is reporting that on on April 11, Chavez underwent a CT scat because a PET scan was not available. “The scan detected progressive liver involvement extending to the left kidney and a mild pancreatic invasion.”

As a result it was decided to change some medications that not only serve to improve his physical state but also to decrease any pain that these metastases cause.

The entire medical staff for Chavez insisted that he not to travel to the Summit of the Americas as was promised just hours earlier.
