Ghost(writer) of Fidel Castro endorses Clinton Obama ticket

This latest “Reflection” is being eaten up by the press and I’m sure Hilary and Obama are just thrilled to the endorsement from the ghost(writer) of Fidel Castro.

You can read the entire Reflection but thought that these last couple charters are the funniest:

Today, talk is about the seemingly invincible ticket that might be created with Hillary for President and Obama for Vice President.  Both of them feel the sacred duty of demanding “a democratic government in Cuba”.  They are not making politics: they are playing a game of cards on a Sunday afternoon.

The media declares that this would be essential, unless Gore decides to run.  I don’t think he will do so; better than anyone, he knows about the kind of catastrophe that awaits humanity if it continues along its current course.  When he was a candidate, he of course committed the error of yearning for “a democratic Cuba”.

Enough of tales and nostalgia.  This is written simply to increase the conscience of the Cuban people.

END

So, I don’t know what’s funnier… the endorsement of Hilary and Obama, the importance of Al Gore to Fidel… Umm, Fidel, Gore has been OUT for many many months so I’m guessing this Reflection was written MONTHS ago. Also, the fact that the ghost(writer) of Fidel Castro actually even acknowledges the Cuban people. That’s funny too.

Maybe it’s just the ending dated for Monday which means “See, I’m alive. I just wrote another Reflection”.

Hey Fidel, this is getting a little ridiculous. I know you would agree IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY ALIVE!

Whether alive or dead, he is loving it that you guys have got your panties all in a bunch.  Of this I am sure.  I recall a quote from him that I’ll paraprase, it was from a few years ago when he was discussing his fitness regimen, and he said something to the effect of: “I will stay in top shape, if just to mortify them one day longer.”

Another quote from that article:

“He said his favorite U.S. president since 1959 was Jimmy Carter, another Democrat, because he was not an “accomplice” to efforts to violently overthrow the Cuban government.”

Fidel should be grateful that President Theodore Roosevelt is no longer around to tour Cuba one more time.
