1. Cuban Representatives of ODCA Hold Conference in Miami on “Proposals for Democratic Change in Cuba.” The conference will take place on June 23-24, 2007 at Florida International University (FIU), in Miami, Florida, USA. The conference is being organized by the four representative organizations for Cuba in the Christian Democrat Organization of America (ODCA): the Christian Liberation Movement, the Cuban Democratic Project, the Christian Democratic Party of Cuba and the Cuban Democratic Directorate.

2. For Spanish Solidarity with Cuba. By Oswaldo Payá. “Our proposal to all Spanish citizens and to their Parliament is that they initiate a “dialogue of good will for solidarity with Cuba. Instead of interminable polemics that do not help Cuba, we suggest, since this concerns us Cubans, the creation of a multi-party parliamentary commission for dialogue with Cuba, keeping in mind that Cuba is composed of all Cubans and all sectors of society.”

3. EU Hearing “the EU’s Approach towards Cuba: Effective or Not?” The hearing will explore what have been the results of this policy which has as a declared objective, “to encourage a process of transition to a pluralist democracy and the respect for human rights…”
