HA NOI — National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An, accompanied by his wife, was scheduled to leave Ha Noi last Saturday on an official visit to Cuba.

It comes at the invitation of the President of the Cuban National Assembly of Peoples’ Power, Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada.

An is accompanied by members of the NA Standing Committee including Vu Mao, head of the NA’s International Relations Committee, Tran Thi Tam Dan, director of the NA’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children and Bui Ngoc Thanh, head of the NA Office.

NA deputies Do Trung Ta, Minister of Post and Telematics, Vo Thi Thang, general director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism and Chairwoman of the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association and Nguyen Ba Thanh, Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee.
