Antique red motorcycle in Havana

I am posting many recent photos of classic American cars in Cuba. Please feel free to leave comments if you know the make, model and year.

Cuban love motorcyles too!

  1. This is a harley-Davidson ( overhead motor not flat head because the carburator is not visible on the left side ) gas tank with the tear drop emblem by the tank shifter was from 1940-1946, however the bike in the picture has a hydralic frond end fork. The Hyrdalic fork ( hydra-glide ) did not start until 1949. The bike in the picture also has a hard tail ( not swing-arm ) rear suspension ( swing arm started in 1958 called Duo-Glide ). The bike in the picture looks like a model “61” Harley-Davidson, “knuckle-Head” with a hydralic fork, probably late 1940’s vintage.
