  1. My Cuban wife applied for a settlement visa at the end of May this year and was told she would be able to travel after 16th June. One week later, she went to collect the visa and was told the home office are still talking so she couldn’t have it yet. Since then I have sent two e mails to the British Embassy in Cuba to ask what the situation is and why there is a hold up and both e mails have been ignored. As I paid over £500 for this visa for my wife, I would have thought that would entitle me to at least a reply explaining what the problem is. I didn’t think my mails would be ignored. This is not a very good situation as we have now been apart for three and a half months and I couldn’t understand what the problem was which is why I sent two e mails. Even as I write this, I still haven’t had a reply from your department. My wife’s name is Francis de la Caridad Oviedo Stuart and her I.D. is : 63100416532
I would really appreciate some information about this as we have been apart for so long now and this long just doesn’t seem necessary. If you could help on this matter my wife and I would be very grateful.
    Mr. Raymond Hoff.
