Bailing Cuban tobacco
(Scanned from 1906 National Geographic magazine)
For the year ending June 30, 1906, Cuba sent the United States leaf tobacco valued at $13,500,000 and cigars and cigarettes valued at $4,000,000.
This bailing not only prepares the Cuban cigar tobacco leaves for shipment but also allows them to age nicely before they go into production.
