Ernest Hemingay's San Francisco de Paula Finca Vijia

The home has been untouched for decades. The author’s house remains a treasure and historical landmark in Cuba. It is deteriorating but the old Cuban exiles in Miami refuse to let any American cultural groups go to Havana to save it.

  1. Finca Vigia is not in Cojimar, is in San Francisco de Paula. Cojimar is another small town near Havana where Heminguay like to visit to fish.

  3. Radames Descartes is correct.  I visited both places last year.  Hemingway’s house is maintained in excellent state on the edge of Havana, whereas Cojimar is a town outsider of Havana.  I was confused upon arriving at this page.  It would be a good idea to correctg the page title.
