I AM FROM CUBA, AM 59 YEARS OLD. I LEFT CUBA WHEN I WAS 12. I NEVER KNEW THAT GENERAL MACEO DIED BEFORE THE END OF THE WAR. I READ DETAILS OF HIS DEATH AND THOSE SORROUNDING HIM WITH GREAT SADNESS, AS IF IT WERE JUST HAPPENING.I THINK THAT THOSE PEOPLE IN THE TURN OF THE 19TH CENTURY LEFT THE JOB UNDONE, AND THAT IT STILL BECONS SOME OF US TO GREATER SACRIFICE TO PROVIDE THE PEOPLE OF CUBA WITH A LIFE OF DIGNITY AND FREEDOM OF ALL KINDS OF TYRANNY AND THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN COUNTRY, RIGHT OR WRONG.Posted by RAMON BLANCO on 04/25 at 05:04 PM
