CARACAS, Venezuela - Cuba’s President Raul Castro is in Venezuela on his first international visit as the country’s leader.

President Hugo Chavez greeted Castro with a hug at the airport just outside Caracas on Saturday.

The two leaders plan to visit the tomb of South American independence hero Simon Bolivar.

They are then expected to discuss various accords during a meeting at the presidential palace.

The 77-year-old Castro took charge of the country in February after his ailing older brother Fidel Castro stepped down.

Fidel Castro is a longtime Chavez ally.

Will he stay there and live happily ever after?

Who’s running the country when he’s gone?

I can only imagine that everything must be locked down on every level in order to prevent a coop.

Boy, wouldn’t that be nice. There’s never been an opportunity like this one with Fidel in self-imposed detention and Raul out of the country?

Hmmm… I’m sure some high up people must be thinking about a coop.

The Embargo would be lifted next week if that happened.
