Oh well folks. I guess main stream America didn’t like CANE as much as we did.

This article says that the CANE tv show about Cuban Americans has not been renewed for the 2008-2009 Fall television season.

Too bad. I think the writer’s strike killed it. If it had a chance to “breath” and grow and get rid of a couple lame characters and tighten up the plot a bit more, it could have been great.

i’m not sure why, but I enjoyed the first eposides very much, but it started going downhill midseason for me, and the last episodes didn’t do much for me.
Some shows I look forward to the next season; Cane didn’t do that for me.
