Hi,

I’m new to the boards and I’m the editor of a small magazine in San Francisco, CA.

I’m very interested in all cultural topics Cuban, but I have a special interest in the cars and trucks of Cuba and how Cubans live with, love and hate their cars.

I’m currently researching an “urban legend” on dump trucks and/or quarry trucks that are powered by a very rare engine called an ‘Ardun.’

I won’t burden you with the sordid details of this, but if there’s anything anyone can enlighten me with, you can contact me at the info below.

I sure do appreciate your help and I look forward to learning more from this board in the future!

Any updates on your quest for information? We just added the “Cuban Life Forum” that includes transportation so maybe more people will see this post.
