How much cash should I be bringing? We are staying at an all inclusive resort for a week. Should I bother converting to US cash first, or wait till we get there to convert canadian money to pesos?

US Dollars are no longer officially accepted in Cuba. If you are at an all inclusive you shouldn’t need much. If you plan to venture away you will need cab fair and spending money which will depend upon your destination.

Obey Cuban laws and be respectful of your host country.

Also, you have two eyes and two ears and one mouth. Use them in their proper proportion.

Take an extra $100 and covert it to $1 convertibles and give $1 away to 100 Cubans you see!

God will repay you with much more!

one peso convertible = one US dollar = 24 local pesos cubanos. And do give away all you can, schools would love you for it.

We YUCAS when visitng Cuba give away an average of $500 to Cubans on the Island, we try to give the funds to those who are worse off then others,we may give a dollar or more to one person depending on how we see their needs.

We wish we could do more but we aren’t an organization funded by donations or anything like that, everything we do is privatley funded by us and only us,out of our own pockets.
