I have a box of 25 (now 24) Cohiba Esplendidos.  After reading the comparison. (http://havanajournal.com/cigars/cohibas) I noticed I did not find the manufacture date on the box.  (http://havanajournal.com/cigars/cohibas-box)  So after cutting into 1 of them I did find it appeared to be somewhat leafy and intact pieces not like the “fake” photo showed. Here are some pics. What are your thoughts?

Unfortunately there are no Cohiba’s (legitimate Cohiba’s) produced in Glass Top boxes.

The ones depicted are your run of the mill fakes purchased off the street (and sometimes in stores) in both Havana and central/south America.

If I remember correctly the going price in Havana for the Glass Top Boxes of Cohiba Esplendido is between $30-$60 CUC.

If you enjoyed it smoke them. If not you have something to give away to mates who come around !LOL!

After all, if they are fakes then they are made by criminals with ZERO quality control OR any care about their reputation or customers.

Do criminals make good cigars?

I would suggest throwing away all fakes for these reasons.

I have not heard of people getting sick from smoking these. There are always the anecdotal stories of people finding palm leaves and toilet paper in fake cigars but generally they are simply cigars being rolled by depserte people using poor quality tobacco.
