Galeria Cubana to auction Cuban art by Edel Bordon for hurricane relief

Galeria Cubana of Boston (and Provincetown in the summer) is sponsoring a Hurricane Sandy Relief Auction on Friday December 7 from 5 to 9 pm in Boston.

To gather support for the auction, the gallery will have on exhibition, works on canvas and paper by Edel Bordon, Reinaldo Campillo, Sandra Dooley, Guillermo Estrada Viera, Mederox, Yamile Pardo and Luis Rodriguez (NOA).

Edel Bordón’s “Collar de plata” (Silver Necklace) from 2012, as seen below, will be on exhibition.

Edel Bordon’s “Despues de la tormenta llega la calma” (After the storm comes the calm) from 2011, oil on canvas, 31” x 14”, as seen below, will be at auction.

Starting bid is $475 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross.
