Black Eyed Peas go Dirty Dancing - Havana Nights

Black Eyed Peas have recorded the title track to the movie Dirty Dancing : Havana Nights.

Havana Nights is somewhat of a sequel to the 1987 smash hit flick Dirty Dancing, but set in Havana in 1958. The positioning statement for the new movie is ‘Have the time of your life, all over again’.

The main songs in the new movie include Yerba Buena ‘Guajira (I Love U 2 Much),’ Black Eyed Peas ‘Dirty Dancing,’ Santana (featuring Jorge Moreno) with ‘satellite,’ Orishas (featuring Heather Headley) ‘Represent, Cuba,’ and Mya ‘Do You Only Wanna Dance’.

Music from Christina Aguilera and Wyclef Jean also features in the film.
Appearing in the movie is Mya as well as Orishas and Heather Headley.
The story tells of the building romance between an American girl and a Cuban girl just before the revolution as Fidel Castro is forcing Americans to leave the country.

The soundtrack to the original film sold more than 32 million copies worldwide. It’s is the second biggest seller in the history of RCA Records.

The movie will debut in American cinemas on February 27.
