Havana.- El Aljibe Restaurant, run by the company Palmares, has reported over 30 million dollars in sales over the past ten years.

The restaurant, which opened in August 1993, has also reported 20 million dollars in profits, thanks to the efficiency of its staff.

Major investments were made in the restaurant in 2003, including fixing the roof, the construction of a wine cellar and a private, and other improvements such as enlarging its salon to accommodate nearly 300 people.

Delays in the restoration works, most of which have been completed, prevented the restaurant from fulfilling last year’s economic plan, but even so, it had revenues of 3.1 million dollars, including over two million dollars in profits.

However, improvement of the restaurant’s infrastructure will allow fulfilling this year’s plan with better conditions.
