Havana.- Delegates from Africa, America, Europe and the Caribbean attended the 8th International Yoruba Congress, held in the Cuban capital this month.

Over 500 scientists, priests and religious people participated in the congress, held at Havana’s International Conference Center.

According to sources from the organizing committee, experts debated on culture, art, education, tradition, the Diaspora’s contexts, philosophy, psychology and ethnic relations.

Other topics on debate were ethno-biological prospects, identity and cross-culturalization linked to the religion of “orishas” (African deities).
The Cuban researcher Ariel Rolando presented a paper on the presence of Yoruba texts in rap music and the contribution of the “orisha” cult to that cultural movement.

Peace,
I would like to know if there is an outreach program to help the male force of lost brothers in the disaspora, especially NYC.It seems that sometimes a priest can use the male force of a man causing great harm to that man over a long period of time. I would like to know what solutions can used to restore the male force and life force of such men.
