DTC News.- Cuban Art Exhibit in Ecuador

Quito.- The Guayasamín Foundation is hosting an exhibit of 60 artworks by Cuban artists, 30 of which will remain in this country as a donation.
According to experts, the exhibit is characterized by its heterogeneous nature, since the paintings, engravings and drawings reflect both landscapes and abstract motives.

The works were created by various generations of Cuban artists, ranging from the 70-year-old Alfredo Sosabravo to the 20-year-old Gustavo Díaz.
Other Cuban artists whose works are being exhibited here are Eduardo Abela, Diana Balboa, Agustín Bejarano, Lester Campa, Jose Antonio Choy, Zaida del Río, Juan Roberto Diago, Nelson Domínguez, Roberto Fabelo, Flora Fong, Raúl Fernández, Ever Fonseca and Gilberto Frometa.

The list of artists also includes Ernesto García, Jose Gomez Fresquet (Fremez), Humberto Hernández, Joel Jover, Alicia Leal, Alexis Leyva (Kcho), Alberto Lescay, Manuel Lopez Oliva, Juan Moreira, Pedro Pablo Oliva, Cosme Proenza, Ernesto Rancaño and Eduardo Roco (Choco).

After being exhibited in this capital, the artworks will be taken to the cities of Guayaquil and Cuenca.
