Havana.- The Tobacco Museum, in the historic heart of the Cuban capital, promotes the attractions of Havana cigars.
Museum officials pointed out that the program includes the organization of diploma courses aimed at promoting the history of Cuban cigars and its production process.

The museum also trains cigar factory readers, who take classes of history, literature, oratory, dramatization and social communication.

As a result of this effort, the 1st National Meeting of Cigar Factory Readers was held recently, and a national technical advising council, whose provincial branches will be created soon, was set up.

The institution, which is the only museum of its kind in Cuba, exhibits archeological pipes, lighters, boxes, ashtrays and old lithographs and rings.
In addition, the reading room keeps the registers of cigar brands from the 18th and 19th centuries, among other important documents linked to Havana cigars.
