Since yesterday I have been trying to get information on the blue scorpion venom since my father is very sick. I have been given several “yahoo” email addresses that either do not work or nobody answers and phone numbers where nobody is reachable and don’t speak English nor French. my boyfriend has prostate cancer (he is 34 years old). His PSA was 36 two years ago and now 10 after medication and radiations. The maximum level for PSA is 2. The doctor advised chemeotherapy. Is there a way we could avoid it? He exercises and for now is not depressed. The doctor says he is young and new cells creating every day, and that may be a disadvantage. My mother suffers from malignant melanoma (H57) to the brain.  For first time had malignant melanoma inside the nose . We had made surgery and cleared the place (12/2001). For second time malignant melanoma had found to the brain. We had made radiation therapy (10/2003) without any results .Then we made surgery and cleared the malignant melanoma but some new tumors reappeared in the brain(1/2004). We also made two times chemo – therapy { temodal ( temozolamide) the dose was 400mgr X 5days}(3 & 4/2004).This period we apply no therapy , only for the symptoms with give cortisone (dexamethasone) and ant-epileptic drugs every day.
Today my mother can not move her legs but she can move her hands. She communicate with as for few moments in the day with big difficulty .The rest of the time she is sleeping .Doctors say that we have no hope.
      I will appreciate if anybody could answer to the following questions:
1.Did they have any positive results in cases of melanoma ?
2.Are there any possibilities that escozul could have positive effects in our case?
3.How can we supply the escozul ?
4.How can we informed about the applied therapy with escozul ( doses ,food, e.t.c.)

What wonderful news! Thank you from all the people you are saving! This medicine is definetely miraculous! So many people here in Greece want to get the venom but due to the shortage, as you said, some are not able to. What we believe is that one should not put a price on one’ suffering. The venom should be given out free to patients (as it is now) and via donations from the people that can afford it, the medicine’ production and research cost will be covered! Me and my mother are trying to set up a non-profitable charity/organisation here in Greece to give the venom to the people for free! It brakes our hearts hearing the stories of people that phone us! Thank God we went to the media and got the backing of all the greek people so that the health industry has to sit up and listen to the people! Everyone should have the right and the chance to live a normal and healthy life without having to pay for it!

My name is Thanos Zitouniatis. My mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer with metastases to the lymph nodes. Last November she lost her sister due to brain cancer. To all those wanting to know how to obtain the Escozul from Cuba.

The only way to receive this Escozul is to go to Havana, Cuba.  You must contact Sr. Stefan Ovies and ask him when he will have some available.  He can be contacted at   I know he is being besieged with emails for this very purpose by literally hundreds of Greek Nationals who heard of this on Greek T.V.

The only other way is if I go down to Cuba and get it for a few at a time bring it back to Canada (My home is Montreal) and ship it to Greece via courier.  If this may interest you pls. email me at   I will try to answer all your emails. However if my offer does not interest you pls. email directly to Sr. Stefan Ovies as to when he will have more Escozul and be patient please.  Stefan is my colleague and friend.  He is a fine man trying to help thousands, I do not envy him.

επικοινώνησα μέσω email με τον Στέφαν Οβις στέλνοντας του το ιστορικό του αρραβωνιαστικού μου και μου απάντησε εμμέσως πλήν σαφώς ότι το φάρμακο βρίσκεται σε πειραματικό στάδιο και να κάνω υπομονή. Η Vivian Silveiro μου έστειλε με email τη διεύθυνση της στην Κούβα αλλά και πάλι δεν μου είπε πότε οι γιατροί θα δουν το ιστορικό του ασθενή, ούτε πότε να περιμένω νέα τους. I am now in Havana, Cuba since June 12 - 19 and I must tell you the only way to be sure to get the Escozul is to come to Cuba and get it yourself or entrust me to get it for you.

I am here right now and I can tell you that the Escozul is not in big supply.  If you can get 1 or 2 bottles this is a lot.  There are too many Greek Nationals coming from Greece and taking all the production. Όλοι οι Έλληνες που σκοπεύουν να ταξιδέψουν στην Κούβα θα πρέπει να είναι πολύ πολύ προσεκτικοί, και ΝΑ ΜΗΝ ΑΛΛΆΖΟΥΝ ΣΥΝΆΛΛΓΜΑ ΣΤΟ ΔΡΟΜΟ!

Από τη δική μου εμπειρία σας λέω ότι καλό θα ήταν όποιος ετοιμάζεται να ταξιδέψει στην Κούβα να έχει συνάλλγμα σε δολλάρια και όχι ευρω. Το δολλάριο είναι το δεύτερο τους νόμισμα... μπορείτε να ψωνίσετε και να κινηθείτε στην Κούβα μόνο με δολάρια.

Επειδή προγραμματίζω να ταξιδέψω στην Κούβα για τον άρρωστο πατέρα μου παρακαλώ πολύ όποιον γνωρίζει να μου απαντήσει πως μεταφέρουμε το φάρμακο,άν χρειάζεται να έχουμε μαζί μας ειδικό μπουκάλι,άν σου δίνουν από κει και ειδικό διαιτολόγιο(διατροφή) για τον άρρωστο, πότε βλέπεις τα πρώτα αποτελέσματα και σε πόσο χρόνο θεραπεύεται ο ασθενής και άν έχει παρενέργειες.Σας ευχαριστώ, να είστε καλά όλοι!

Το φάρμακο αν το προμηθευτείτε από τη Labiofam είναι συσκευασμένο από την εταιρία. Άλλοι λένε να βάλετε το φάρμακο στις αποσκευές, άλλοι να το κουβαλάτε μαζί σας, στο σημείο που είναι οι αποσκευές η θερμοκρασία πεφτει και στους -25. Το διαιτολόγιο βασίζεται κυρίως στις εξετάσεις αίματος, να έχετε προσφατες μαζί σας. Τα πρώτα ”αποτελέσματα” αντιδράσεις φαίνονται σε 10-15 ημέρες περίπου, αλλά πάντα εξαρτάται από τον ασθενή καιτονοργανισμότου.
Καλό ταξίδι

Αναφορικά με την μεταφορά των μπουκαλιών η δική μου εμπειρία είναι η παρακάτω. Ενώ είχα γεμίσει 8 μπουκάλια των 2 λίτρων, στην διαδρομή από Santiago de Cuba προς Havana δεν με άφησαν να έχω τα μπουκάλια μαζί μου μέσα στο αεροπλάνο (παρ΄ότι το ζήτησα) και τα έβαλαν στις αποσκευές. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να ανοίξει ένα μπουκάλι και να χυθεί όλο το υγρό και σε ένα άλλο μπουκάλι να χυθεί περίπου το μισό!(είχα βάλει και μονωτική ταινία στα πώματα)

Το θερμός φαντάζομαι είναι καλή λύση αν το φάρμακο είναι χύμα, δηλαδή σε μπουκάλια νερού. Η θεραπεία δεν σταματάει ποτέ και ναι πρέπει όποτε τελειώνει το φάρμακο να ξανακάνεις το ταξίδι.

First of all, Stefan Ovies phoned us up and spoke to my mother (Mrs. Lemos) andmy mother asked him if he knew Ioannis Petrou from Cyprus. Stefan said yes and then she asked him has the University of Mexico an agreementwith Labiofam and the answer was again “yes”. I have just got off the phone with Prof. Ioannis Petrou and he told me that the University is researching on blue scorpion venom and that is what they are giving out. The venom is sent from Labiofam to the University in Mexico. 

Actually there was a misunderstanding between me and Prof. Petrou. The agreement is not on the internet. My mistake. Sorry about that!

I am very close to Stefan Ovies and Dr. Gomez at Labiofam, I have a very sincere and honest relationship with both of them. They has asked me to personally inform everyone that there is absolutely no relationship between Labiofam and the Mexican University.

I also met and spoke to Ariel Portal, a biologist studying the Escozul project in Havana University and who is working directly with the scientists at Labiofam.  He UNEQUIVACALLY has confirmend as well that this project is being studied with NO ONE, repeat NO ONE outside of Cuba!!!

Ariel has also informed me that he will conclude his thesis and provide me this information in a month or so.  I will post some of his findings on this forum!

Stefan also told me about the phone call to your mother Mrs. Lemos and HE WAS VERY CLEAR THAT HE TOLD YOUR MOTHER THAT THERE WAS NOT A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LABIOFAM AND THE MEXICAN UNIVERSITY….... WHY THEN ARE YOU TELLING THE PEOPLE THE OPPOSITE???????

Why are you telling people that there is a relationship?  Are you involved with the sale of the Escozul from the Mexican University?

I also had supper on last Thursday night with Dr. Gomez (Labiofam) and Sr. Stefan Ovies and we discussed this very subject about the Escozul being available outside Cuba and this is just not possible at this time as the Cuban Government will not allow this to shared until the studies are terminated.

I was also in Guantanamo and met with Misael Bordier and I can tell you he is working alone!!!!  He does not work with anyone in Cuba and would need special permission from the Government of Cuba to work with anyone outside of Cuba which he does not have!!!  He also does not want to share his work with anyone outside Cuba.

WHY DO YOU INSIST ON GIVING OUT THIS FALSE INFORMATION????

I will call Stefan Ovies today in Cuba on his private cell number and I will ask him to send me an email confirming what he told your mother and what the truth is.  I will post it here on the Havana Journal for all people to see.  I have absolutely no interest in this project other than to tell the people the truth and not false hopes.

Thank-you for your comments and I fully agree with you.

As the moderator for the Escozul Forum on the Havana Journal my responsibilities are to keep the information as accurate as possible.  As I have just spent one week with the people at Labiofam and a trip to Guantanamo I am coming back home with updated and accurate information.  When I saw the incorrect information on this forum my intent was only to correct it.  Not to harm anyone.  However, as I am not a politician and profess not to be a Diplomat, sometimes the way you say things can skew the perception of the message.  Unfortunately, it turned into an inappropriate challenge of wit.  As you can see by the emails posted, I quickly withdrew and offered an Olive branch but to my dismay it was not accepted!

In answer to your question, the person who had a brain tumour is in fact a member of the Lemos Family.  For more detailed information it is best that you address this question to them, as they are the ones with first hand information in this specific case.

I can tell you that at the moment because of all the attention Escozul has received in Greece there has been a run to Cuba for the Escozul by Greek Nationals.  I have received over 600 emails in the last 2 weeks alone from Greek Nationals trying to get information on Escozul. I have sincerely tried to answer each and every one that has been directed to me. 

As the Cuban Medical community has not synthesized the active ingredient in the Venom, they must rely on the Blue Scorpion in order to produce Escozul. Unfortunately the Blue Scorpion only produces 2 drops of Venom every couple of weeks by stimulating it with an electric shock.  This is very delicate and timely procedure.  The objective here is not to harm the Blue Scorpion, rather keep it alive for it to produce again and again.  Unfortunately, there are not enough Blue Scorpions and they are indigenous only to the island of Cuba.

If there is any other questions you would like answered pls. do not hesitate to ask it will be my pleasure to try and help.

Dear Pauline: With Labiofam’ medicine the dose is 2 big spoons: 1 in the morning half an hour before breakfast, 2 spoons in the noon half an hour before lunch, 2 spoons half an hour before dinner, and finally 2 spoons before bed time. Total 60ml per day. With Guantanamos medicine basics is 240ml per day divided in the same 4 times. I can’t tell though if this dose is same for everyone that uses the medicine.

Yes this is correct Pauline.  Depending on where you received the bottle Labiofam or Guantanamo the doses George has given you are correct.

The only thing I would like to add is that the patient should try to keep the Escozul under their tongue for a minute or two to help absorb the Escozul into the blood stream more effectively.

You must dilute the Escozul concentrate with Distilled water from the Pharmacy.  Then this Escozul solution must be taken orally (by the mouth), not injection!!!

My uncle has a non - small cancer in the right lung. He did the usually chemotherapy but he didn’t see any treetment. The cancer now presses the right artery of the heart because of that he is going to die by heart attack. There is not any other treetment for him, said the doctors. He managed to get the escozul medicine and now he has it into his refrigerator but he does not know what is the correct dosage for his case! He is going to take the medicine anyway at a dosage that another man said to him. He says that since the doctors has no other treetment for him, the escozul is his last hope. He is right but it would be better if he took the right dose. That is my problem. Does anybody knows the preferable dose for his case? If yes then he is going to reduce the risk of taking this medicine. I understand this medicine is under experimentation but my uncle is going to take it anyway. Pls. identify yourself in a more specific way. Who is the Escozul for and what kind of Cancer?  Where are you from? What Country? This all makes a difference.  If you are from the U.S. it is more difficult as U.S. citizens need permission to travel to Cuba and I do not think they will give it to you to acquire Escozul.  So I need to have this information to be able to give you your options.

Furthermore, The Cuban Gov’t provides the Escozul for FREE!!!!  Labiofam, the official state run Pharmaceutical co. with the exclusive right to produce the Escozul distributes it free when they have it to give to foreigners.  The cost depends on what country you are coming from to acquire it.  The cost of Airfare, Hotel, Car rental, Food, etc. while you are down in Cuba for at least 1 week is what Stefan Ovies is asking of all people going down to Cuba for this purpose to obtain the Escozul.

Hello everyone,
After almost 2 months of therapy with escozul, we had a CT- scanning (radial tomography) five days ago and the results are very good for us. His condition as the doctors say is: positively stable. He has a tumor in the right lung and the tumor is all over the marrow (spinal cord). For us the news are great because two months ago doctors said that in 20 days my father whould be totally paralyzed. We are continuing the therapy and I hope that all of you who are taking the medicine to have the same or better results with us.

There is always hope!!!  Never say never.  I know for a fact that in Cuba they have just concluded the first deal with a U.S. based company in 45 yrs for the sale of Cuban Cancer Vaccines that this pharmaceutical company called Cervax has bought from them with the approval of the U.S. State Dept.  They have these vaccines available in Cuba and specifically at the Clinica Oncologica Int’l de Havana and I have met with Dra. Maria Eugenia on several occassions and I know she would welcome your father as a patient after having reviewed his Medical Records and approved him as a patient for this treatment.

The verdict on the Cure for Cancer is not in yet.  The official Cuban Medical Community Statement on the Escozul is that it is`“Betterment of the Quality of Life for the Afflicted Patient”

Studies are being done as we speak in Cuba on this Blue Scorpions Venom at the “Instituto Pedro Kouri” and I have personally met with the Dr.’, Scientists and researchers involved in this study.  They have definitively proven that the Escozul is an anti-inflammatory, an Analgesic but as yet have not proven UNDER STRICT LAB CONDITIONS that it is in fact Anti-Tumoural.

I would suggest to you to read up on Escozul in the Havana Journal as there is a ton of information here. I wish I could be of help in regards to Guantanamo but I cannot.  I do not know if they have opened elsewhere but will be happy to report back on this when I go there on August 23.

In the meantime your relatives and friends can still get the Escozul as Labiofam, I am happy to report, is increasing production and will have more Escozul to distribute, as well as Sr. Monzon in Jaguey Grande, which is much easier to get to than Guantanamo about 2 hrs. by taxi or car from Havana, is also able to supply the Escozul.  I met Sr. Monzon and his daughter Niuris (Patient No. 1) on my last trip there.  He is a prodige of Misael Bordier and works similarly to Guantanamo. 

Niuris showed us her scars on her stomach and told us her story and she is now 29 yrs. old and in total remission. (She was 12 when she was diagnosed and 15 when she started the Escozul)

There are travel agency’ now in Greece who are paying attention to Cuba as a destination.  Check to see if they now have packages to go to Cuba.

You must be prepared to spend 1 week in Havana.  Before you go you will email Sr. Stefan Ovies at
and tell him that you are coming from Greece to collect the Escozul.  Also, before you go you will check on the many emails that have come to this forum and find out the name and telephone number of the Greek Priest who is at the Greek Orthodox Church in Havana.  Once in Havana, you will call both Stefan Ovies at (53 7) 204-2169-2170-2171-2175 and the priest.  Stefan represents the interests of Labiofam, the pharmaceutical co. making the Escozul and can help you get it from his Pharmaceutical co.  I know the priest has his contacts as well. 

As a last resort and not necessarily the worst choice is Sr. Monzon in Jaguey Grande, about 2 hrs drive from Havana.  He is offering Escozul free of charge to anyone coming to his home on Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday in Jaguey Grande.  It is easy to get there.  The way I like to go is by taxi!  Call Panataxi, at 55-5555 in Havana and tell them you need a taxi to go to Jaguey Grande and specifically to see Monzon, they will know.  Ask to send you a driver who speaks English (Un Chaufer de Taxi que hablas Ingles!) They will charge you approx. $125.00 about the same as if you would rent a car for the day with insurances and gazoline (renting is very expensive in Cuba!!!)

Once you get to Monzon’ house you will have to wait as their is usually 5 - 10 people waiting to see him.  He is a very nice man and make sure you have the Medical Report of your afflicted patient with you.  Monzon will read it make notes and then explain to you what is he going to prescribe for your patient.  Bring the Taxi driver who speaks English with you in the meeting and let him translate for you. (Give him a tip for this service at the end of the day) Monzon and his daughter Niuris will be there to take care of you and give you the Escozul. 

I ALMOST FORGOT TO TELL YOU BUY IN HAVANA 2 X 1.5 LITRE BOTTLE OF NATURAL SPRING WATER AND 2 x 500 ml OF NATURAL SPRING WATER. MONZON WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO YOU.

I am a little confused.In Greece people are telling to bring bottles with (WFI)because you can not find any in Cuba.They telling me to collect Escozul from Dr.Bordier in Guatanamo also and from Sr.Stefan Ovies and from Sr.Monson.

My sister has primary refractory Hodgkin disease (nodular sclerosis, stage IVB with pulmonary involvement). She has been ill since 1999. Does anybody know if Escuzol can help in this situation? You say you want to learn everything about the Blue Scorpion.  My advice to you would be to start reading everything you can, articles published on the web by Misael Bordier and others.  Go to [url=http://www.google.com]http://www.google.com[/url] and keyword Escozul and a multitude of articles will pop up, read them all.  Then you can come back to the Havana Journal (http://www.havanajournal.com) and go to the Escozul forum in this Journal and there are over 1800 entries from people asking questions and telling of their stories. There is a wealth of information here.  I have also written about many of my meetings with the authorites in Cuba regarding the ongoing research and development of Escozul.  I have reports about my meetings with Dr. Maestre the Head of the project and Clinical Trials investigating the mysteries of the Blue Scorpion at the Instituto Pedro Kouri, the CDC of Cuba!

So it is up to you to find out as much as you can by reading all the available information out there.

As for the cost of the Escozul it is simply the cost of travel, hotel, food and other expenses to go to Cuba and meet the people and Institutions that can provide you with the Escozul. In Cuba the Escozul is given to Cubans and Foreigners alike for FREE!!!

My husband (49 years now)has a kidney cancer since Sept 2002 when doctors found 3,5 kilos t in the right kidney and unfortunatelly metastatic to his main vein next to the kidney. After the operation (kidney and vein) the cancer expanded to lungs and Jan 2003 (obviously) and to lymphatic system Oct 2003. Since I learnt about blue scorpion methodology I applied and I learnt that 60% of people who had been in the operation room (surgery)before,  are dying through this method. So I did not continued my efforts on this. Now he decided to go in Cuba but I am still worring if this will be ok for him. Also he had a heart attack 1993 and I am very much interesting to know the soonest possible if it is right for him to visit you.

You do not need to take your husband to Cuba. All you need to do is send the medical history of the patient to Monzon or Bordier via email and then go to Cuba to pick up the medicine. All hell is breaking loose over here! Every channel on TV is debating about Escozul! We were watching this morning on ALPHA channel the president of the pharmaceutical association here in in Greece and others going against Cuba and Escozul and then patients who have been cured started phoning in!
