My name is Porfirio Rosales Garcia.  I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1949 in the Hospital Militar de La Habana.

I left Cuba in 1961 without a birth certificate.  How can I obtain a copy of my birth certificate?

Call the Cuban Embassy in the country you are now living in.

If in the US, then it’ the Cuban Interest’ Section in Washington.

I also am searching for my birth certificate from 1958 - if anyone gets any info let me know.  FYI - if you were naturalized you may be able to get that document, i’m also trying that hoping that the original birth information is on it - unfortunately is costs somewhere around $230.00.  It’s through the state department.  Good luck to all.
