I need my Cuban birth certificate from 1949

My name is Porfirio Rosales Garcia.  I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1949 in the Hospital Militar de La Habana.

I left Cuba in 1961 without a birth certificate.  How can I obtain a copy of my birth certificate?

If in the US, then it’ the Cuban Interest’ Section in Washington.

I wish we could help people but getting access to birth certificates is something that has to be done in Cuba with lots of patience I would imagine. No one can call in or send an email and expect to get any records from the Cuban government.
