Havana Beverages launches Havana Tamarind, an orange - ginger flavored premium, all-natural soda sweetened with 100% pure cane sugar,  rather than the high-fructose corn syrup used in popular American soft drinks.

Tamarind is a fruit flavor produced by the tamarind tree, which is native to Africa and grows well in tropical areas of the world including Cuba and Mexico.  It is a popular fruit flavor often used to flavor food and candy.

Havana Tamarind is delicious and unlike any other natural soda product available today,” said Alexander “Sandy” Nixon, president of Havana Beverages. “Consumer reaction to this product was extremely positive, and it isa great addition to our portfolio. Our customers will love it.”

All Havana Beverages products are naturally flavored, gluten free and sweetened with 100% Pure Cane Sugar, packaged in 12 ounce clear flint glass bottles and showcase original hand-drawn labels, to reflect the companys Cuban heritage. The products also can be used as mixers in popular alcoholic drinks.

They also produce Havana Cola and Havana Mojito flavored sodas. You can look for a retailer near you. Let us know what you think, post a comment below.

Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Havana Beverages is an industry leader in producing the finest quality, premium flavored beverages in the United States.  Its distinctive line of flavored colas, Havana Cola, Havana Mojito, Havana Tamarind and diet versions of all products, are sold in gourmet grocery chains and liquor stores in 25 states.  Havana Mojito received 4 ½ out of 5 stars from BevNET.com and was recognized as a finalist in the 2007 New Products Showcase Awards at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore.
