HAVANA, Cuba (CNN)—Niurys Monzon, 28, says she is a living proof that it works.

“I was eleven when I was diagnosed,” she said, “and started taking Escozul when I was fifteen.”

Her father, Jose Felipe Monzon told CNN that in 1992 her cancer of the pancreas had spread despite two years of chemotherapy, radiation treatment and three operations and that doctors had given up.

In desperation, he turned to a man named Misael Bordier, a biologist from Guantanamo who was experimenting with scorpion venom on cancerous tumors in rats and dogs.

According to Bordier, the test results were astonishing.

“The immune system of the benign cells increases, the malignant cells start dying and the tumors shrink or disappear,” he explained.

“We saw how some 85 percent of the rats survived.”

Niurys was his first human patient.

She and her father were so grateful they began breeding scorpions—they now have 3,000 of them—and under Bordier’s direction are distributing the venom at no cost from their home.

Twice a week they dispense hundreds of bottles of the unusual liquid—a potion made of distilled water mixed with drops of venom from the blue scorpion.

People from all over Cuba and even abroad come to their home, seeking an unorthodox treatment for cancer.

“Doctors gave my father a month to live and said they could do nothing because he had nine brain tumors,” said Radel Cortez who came to pick up more of the scorpion poison he believes has prolonged his father’s life for the last seven months.

The Monzons says the only problem is a shortage of the raw material for their treatment. There aren’t enough little blue scorpions to meet the demand.

Bordier told CNN some 60,000 Cubans have used the Escozul to treat their cancer in just over a decade.

Niurys and Jose Monzon admit they haven’t gathered any scientifically controlled data, but say from their experience 80 percent of patients show a marked improvement in quality and duration of life, and of those 25 to 30 percent go into remission.

But Cuba’s Oncology Institute is skeptical and says more tests need to be run to determine whether Escozul does indeed work. Cuba’s largest laboratory, Labiofam, is already conducting experiments.

In the meantime, people will continue to come here for Escozul, which provides if not a miracle cure, at least a last ray of hope.

The best way for you to obtain the Escozul is to go to Cuba and get it yourself with the Medical Records of your father in hand.  I will guide you to the right people and the names and telephone nos. of the people that will sincerely help you in finding the Escozul.

Yes there have been many postive results using the Escozul.  The Cuban Medical Community is now studying the Escozul in depth for the last couple of years even though it was discovered by Misael Bordier in Guantanamo back in 1980.

However I am limited in what I can write in this forum. Pls. go to the Escozul forum for your answer I will post it there as I have much more room to write.

Às I have helped others it will be a pleasure to help you.  Yes, you should bring your Medical records (Complete and originals, Cat Scans, M.R.I.’ if any).

Maria Eugenia Head Oncologist at the Clinica Oncologia Int’l de Havana.  They have access to the new vaccines that have recently been developed for Lung Cancer and will be able to assess your father’ case and determine whether he qualifies for such treatment which they can give him at this Hospital (Clinica Onc…...)

Mediastinal seminoma diagnosed in October 1984 and treated by initial mediastinal radiotherapy and subsequently with chemotherapy (carboplatin,BOP/BEP) April and October 1986 for bone marrow and axillary relapse

18/3/2004
Probable carcinoma of the body/tail of the pancreas with liver metastases
Bilateral phrenic nerve palsy since surgery for mediastinal seminoma 1984 currently requiring CPAP for sleep apnoea
Recent presentation with bilateral deep vein thrombosis
Hypertension medical therapy
Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus

CT scan of thorax and pelvis which showed 3cm x 3cm poorly enhancing mass in the body of the pancreas
In theliver multiple (3) ill-defined metastases are evident the largest 3.5x5cm (showed on MRI of 18th of March 2004) MRI OF 3RD of July 2004 showed (6) defined metastases in the liver

2nd of October 2004
After the second 4-day cycle of chemotherapy, we have made a new MRI scan which showed no improvement. The chemotherapy was based for seminoma using carboplatin I.V and etoposide I.V every 21 days
Conclusion of the doctor who saw the MRI
Lessions seem to be bigger in size and number.
As a result we have obstruction because of pressure at athe bile vessels
Growth of duct limits
Small disorganization of the body of pancreas without saying for sure that is neoplasia.

4 F.N.A biopsies made in the area of liver but there were no specific results

We donít know if it is a tumor and what kind.
All the other organs from the head until genitals are clean after several checks (gastroscope,colonoscope).

I am sorry I took so long to answer your email. Let me answer your question as follows; 

Depending on who you obtain the Escozul from (Bordier, Monzon, Labiofam or Escorpion Azul S.A.) they will give you approx. 3 months supply after proper diagnosis with the proper Medical Report of the patient.  If the patient has a positive reaction to the Escozul, (you will know this within the 3 months of treatment) then you must continue it until such a time that Medical tests and scans show that the patient is in total remission.  How long is that?  No one knows! 

I can tell you that JosÈ Monzon’ daughter (Patient #1) who was diagnosed in 1988 with pancreatic cancer with matasticis to the liver, lymphatic system and small and large intestines is still on it today. albeit in much smaller doses.  Every case is different.

I hope this gives you a better idea.
