Havana.- Todd Herriot, from the US team UPMC-FUJI, won the 28th Cycling Tour of Cuba, clocking 46:17.05 hours.

The second place in the general individual classification was taken by Eliecer Valdes, from Cuba A, while Maxim Gourov, from Spain’s Cropusa-Burgos, finished third.

The mountain title went to Stefanno Penetta, from Italy’s KRKA Telecom-Pennelli Cinghial, with 28 points, followed by Cuba’s Eliecer Valdes (21 points).

The winner by points was Joel Mari�o, from Cuba B, with 113 units, while the title in the under-23 category went to Yeinier Lopez (Cuba B).

Cuba A won the title by teams with 138:58.39 hours, followed by Cuba B and the US team UPMC-FUJI.

This year’s cycling tour began in Baracoa, Cuba’s easternmost region, and consisted of over 1,500 kilometers (932 miles), divided into 13 stages.
