Havana.- Afro Cuban All Stars, musician Juan de Marcos González and Cuban singer Pedrito Calvo performed in Los Angeles, the United States.
According to specialized critics, the band gave one of the best concerts staged at the auditorium of the University of California this year.

Ignacio “Mazacote” Carrillo, a prominent Cuban artist, showed his excellent physical condition while dancing with a young dancer the song “El canallon”, somehow replacing Manuel “Puntillita” Licea, who died a few months ago.

The 17-strong band played “son” and “bolero” and delighted the audience with excellent trombone, trumpet and saxophone solos.

For his part, Pedrito Calvo, a former member of Los Van Van orchestra, gave a singular touch to the performance, and received a standing ovation from the audience.

Apparently there is some despute as to who owns the name and/or trademark to Afro Cuban All Stars. The Havana Journal owns AfroCubanAllStars.com and .org.

We are happy to discuss development, cross promotion, sale or donation of domain names. We have been contacted by two different parties claiming ownership of the trademark. However, they have been unable to provide proof of association or ownership of trademark.

For this reason, these two domains are pointing traffic to this page at the Havana Journal.
