SIX Cuban baseball players have reportedly sneaked into the United States, arriving in Miami by boat.

The players landed in Florida after two days at sea during which they managed to escape detection by Cuban law enforcement, US news reports said today.

The group includes Yunel Escobar Almenares, Yamel Guevara and Johan Limonta Zayas.

The three others are Jose Angel Cordero Valdez, Joel Perez Mendieta and junior Rafael Galbizo Figueroa.

The players are all 24 years or younger and likely to have aspirations of playing professional in the United States.
