Cuban baseball team lineup for Pan American Games announced

Cuban baseball officials announced the team that will compete in the upcoming Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

According to experts, the team combines experienced and young talents, as part of a much-needed renovation.

The team includes catchers Ariel Pestano and Eriel Sánchez, and infielders Alexander Mayeta, Eduardo Paret, Alexei Ramírez, Yulieski Gurriel and Luis Miguel Navas.

The outfielders are Frederich Cepeda, Yoandri Urgellés, Osmany Urrutia, Yorvis Duvergel and Yoanis Céspedes.

The Cuban pitchers are Pedro Luis Lazo, Jonder Martínez, Yunieski Maya, Norberto González, Adiel Palma, Elier Sánchez, Norge Luis Vera and Aroldis Chapman.

The coach will be Rey Vicente Anglada, who will be assisted by Luis Danilo Larduet, Orestes Kindelán and Benito Camacho.
