Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. and Monsanto Co. were named among Hispanic magazine’s ( http://www.HispanicOnline.com ) 2005 list of the companies that provide the most opportunities for Hispanics.
The Corporate 100, in the magazine’s February issue, is based on companies’ diversity training, recruitment efforts, ethnic representation on their boards, other minority business initiatives and funding for Latino-related causes.

The magazine said A-B has give more than $45 million to more than 400 community-based, local and national Latino organizations in the last 20 years. It also helped raise money for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund with a concert series.

Other companies that made the list and are among the largest employers in the St. Louis area include Bank of America, The Boeing Co., DaimlerChrysler Corp., Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp., MasterCard International, McDonald’s Corp., SBC Communications and Wal-Mart.
