Americas Group Cuba Business Enterprise
This is a “development stage company” formed on March 23, 2009 as a partnership with Kirby Jones of Alamar Associates (“AA”) the most well known and credible American involved in Cuba and Cuban Issues since 1974 and The Americas Group (“TAG”) to provide strategic advice to individuals and companies interested in doing business with Cuba and/or investing in Cuba as regulations permit. We believe that TAG’s 35 years of experience in Latin America coupled with Kirby’s 35 plus years of experience and credibility in Cuba will make us the dominant “go to” source as Cuba opens.
TAGCBE believes it is timely and important for U.S. Companies to seriously begin monitoring the prospects and environment for doing business in Cuba and to begin tracking the Cuban market and policies so they are prepared to make a move when the regulations permit. Towards that end, TAGCBE is currently publishing a monthly news letter “Cuba Report” and a weekly news letter “Cuba Watch” along with special reports. It is our view that this process of opening will be gradual; resulting in a series of steps over a period of time and not some dramatic overnight change. We also believe that this is all the more reason to monitor changes and events so that our clients will be prepared and among the first to take maximum advantage of the opportunities that will be available.
