DTC News.- New Wines Hit Cuban Market

Havana.- The wine company Bodegas de San Cristobal, in western Cuba, will launch a new product in the domestic market.

The product, named Sangri, is made up of red wine mixed with natural extracts of orange, pineapple, lemon and banana.

Other ingredients are sugar and preservatives, so that its flavor pleases Cuban consumers.

According to experts, Sangri, whose flavor was achieved after several tests, is commercialized in some hotels and recreational facilities.
The product, which comes in disposable containers, will be sold in the national network of dollar shops in a near future.

Bodegas de San Cristobal was founded in Pinar del Río province in 1998. The factory can produce up to four million bottles of six brands of red, white and pink wines.
