Havana.- Joint ventures in Cuba’s food sector have reported good results so far this year, and have gained ground in the field of tourism and in local markets.

According to experts, products from those companies include 90 percent of juices, soft drinks and beers being sold in tourist resorts and dollar shops.
They added that the companies have also met the demand for those products in the network of rationed food and dollar shops.

The companies involving foreign capital contributed to keeping several industries open, upgrading technologies and creating new offers.
Among those firms is Río Zaza, which covers a wide range of products, including sauces, dairy products and fruit juices sold in tourist facilities and in the domestic market in dollars.
