Havana.- The entrepreneurial group NESTLE and the Cuban firm CORALSA have created an association to produce high-quality ice creams on the largest Antillean island.

The ice cream plant, in Havana, received an investment of nearly 7.8 million dollars.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the plant will produce up to 12 million liters a year, and part of that output will be sold in dollars.
The factory will operate under the name CORALAC S.A. and will initially produce ice creams in the forms of ice-lollies, cones and vases.

The latter will include a wide range of flavors, including chocolate, strawberry, almond, orange-pineapple, muscatel, mango, coconut, and strawberry bonbon.
