Luo Gan, top Chinese official in Cuba to strengthen ties

A top-level Chinese Communist Party official spotlighted the excellent relations between his country and Cuba.

Upon his arrival in Havana, Luo Gan, a member of the Permanent Committee of the Chinese Communist Party’s Political Bureau, expressed confidence that his stay in Cuba would serve to further strengthen relations and said he is expecting to learn from the experiences and achievements of the Cuban Revolution in building socialism.

Luo Gan is accompanied by a delegation of other senior public officials from the Asian nation. The Chinese visitor is in Cuba at the official invitation of Cuba’s Communist Party. They will stay on the island through December 22.
