The Organizing Committee of the International Fair of Havana has the pleasure to invite you to participate in its 27th edition that will take place from November the 2nd through the 7th of 2009 at EXPOCUBA.

FIHAV has established itself as the most interesting exposition meeting for companies and business men from all over the world that in a way or the other are commercially linked with Cuba. That was fully shown during the last edition that had the presence of more than a thousand companies from 54 nations that occupied an area of 17,608 m2 net of exhibition.

2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Opening Ceremony and Professional visits

10:00 am to 6:00 pm Professional visits to trade show

7:30 pm Awards Ceremony

November 7

10:00 am to 6:00 pm Trade Show opens to the public

November 9 -13

9:00 am to 5:00 am Withdrawal of products and dismantling of trade show booths

Fair Structure

The International fair of Havana is presented at the compound of EXPOCUBA where there are 25 Exposition Pavilions of different sizes. The total net area for exposition is 25,000m2. The participating enterprises are situated by countries.  Depending of the required area the expositor will occupy part, the whole or several pavilions.

The participation will be formalized through the Participation Request form available from .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or directly at PABEXPO before October 1st. The application form will have to be presented with all the complete data, including booth design. To grant the space reserve and for the expositor to get its location, you will have to pay 50% of the booked space at the time of presenting the application. The final deadline to pay the other 50% balance for space and services booked will be October 13th.

Complete booths - (Only for stand of 9m2) CUC 1100.00

Includes floor space, aluminum structure, white modular panels (2.50x0.90m), carpet, lettering with the name of the firm, power supply up to 500w, cleaning, protection of the samples, credentials (depending of the area booked), inclusion into the Official Catalog (up to 10 lines), 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 plug, 2 reflectors, 1 trash can.

Interior Stand Assembled CUC 110.00 /m2 (Starting from 12m2)

Includes floor space, aluminum structure, white modular panels (2.50x0.90m), carpet, lettering with the name of the firm, power supply up to 500w, cleaning, protection of the samples, credentials (depending of the area booked), inclusion into the Official Catalog ( up to 10 lines) Furniture not included.

Interior Stand Non-Assembled CUC 100.00 /m2 (Starting from 20m2)

Includes floor space, carpet, power supply up to 500w, cleaning, protection of the samples, credentials (depending of the area booked), inclusion into the Official Catalog (up to 10 lines).

Exterior Space CUC60.00/m2 (Starting from 12m2)

Includes floor space, power supply up to 500w, cleaning, protection of the samples, credentials (depending of the area booked), inclusion into the Official Catalog (up to 10 lines).

How to Pay

All rates are presented in Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC), so the exhibitor should have to get information about the current exchange rates in Cuba.

Please note that US Dollars are not accepted.

Once the assembling of the booths is started you could pay at Pavilion 8A EXPOCUBA.

Important Dates for the Exhibitors

Up to October 1st

- Presenting the Participation Application
- Payment of 50% of booked space
- Presenting Free design stand projects
- Reception of Final Product Image for Advertising (JPG format 16x22 cm)

Up to October 13th

- Payment of the remaining 50% of space and services booked
- Arrival by sea of the merchandises

Up to October 24th

- Arrival by Air of the merchandises

Up to November 2nd

- Application to participate on the Product Quality Awards, Design and Publicity

    Estoy de lo mas entusiasmado de poder trabajar
    en Cuba en USINT, tengo mi pasaporte cubano
    vigente con residencia por 10 anos, vivo en PR
    y existe una plaza de posicion de asistente
    financiero en esa oficina de intereses, quisiera
    saber que Palco me dice; me recomienda. Es posible que pueda trabajar en la Habana es mi
    sueno, quiero aportar ese granito de arena; que
    sirva de puente entre los cubanos/americanos.

    Por favor dejame saber como le fué, estoy en la misma situacion solicitando empleo en la USINT y tengo que acudir a palco, no estoy muy seguro de que hacer, a donde ir, requisitos que Palco pide. Vivo en California . Por favor ayudame con información si la tienes. Gracias!
