Associated Press
BOISE—Congressman Butch Otter and leaders of a half dozen farm groups head for Cuba today for a week-long mission to sell Idaho commodities.

Otter and representatives of the state’s bean, dairy, grain, potato and lentil industries will meet in Havana with Foreign Minister Felipe Perez and Pedro Alvarez, president of the Cuban food important company, Alimport.
They’ll return next Saturday.

A trip in February yielded contracts for $10 million worth of Idaho agricultural goods. And Otter believes there’s a potential for even greater sales this time.
